Designing the Cover

 On December 13, after designing my two-page layout, it was time to design my cover layout. Sticking to the layout rules I had learned before, I included elements to my cover such as a title, headline, secondary headlines, dominant photo, publishing date, and different degrees of separation. These all came together to create my final cover layout:
