Depth of Field, Photography Techniques, and Magazine Picture Preparation

On October 10, I learned about depth of field and how to use it in order to focus on a specific part of an image. On October 25, I was introduced to a variety of photography techniques such as bird's eye view, worm's eye view, rule of thirds, leading lines, isolation, framing, repetition, getting closer to the subject, and using the available light instead of flash. I then went out around the school to take pictures of a few examples of these photography techniques. These lessons helped me to prepare the pictures for my magazine by introducing me to a bunch of techniques that draw focus to the subject I want in my picture and can bring a picture to the next level with interesting arrangements.
